Bath is leading the UK as the first ConnectedCommunity, in a world-first project backed by Innovate UK and key local partners.
At the project’s centre is Minfo’s AudioQR technology – a quantum advance on visual QR codes.
Using inaudible audio, AudioQR connects people’s phones instantly to More INFO without scanning or typing. From radio and TV ads that open extra info and special offers, to cafés where background music reveals menus, loyalty clubs, or reviews, and a million other uses, AudioQR tech makes everyday moments seamless and interactive.
For businesses, the pilot offers new customer reach, verified engagement data, and visibility across Bath’s media channels. For residents and visitors, it delivers instant access to offers, experiences, and local information.
Together, we’re tackling ad fraud and setting a new standard for trusted, transparent engagement in Bath.
